Elevation Massage owner and Massage Therapist Genevieve Verge grew up in the mountain towns of Field and Invermere, BC. She completed her massage training in 2004 at Mount Royal College in Calgary and after a short time decided to return to the Invermere area.

Practicing massage, reflexology, and a variety of other spa treatments since then, she has honed her skill and technique. Specializing in a blend of relaxation and therapeutic work, she particularly enjoys working on the cervical region (neck). Clients should expect a therapist who is intuitive and experienced.

Renata was born and raised in Poland where she competed in gymnastics and triathlons. At 19 she moved to Canada where she worked as a physiotherapy assistant for many years, at the same time she volunteered with CASARA (Civil Aviation Search And Rescue Association) in Northern Manitoba.

In 2001 she moved to Edmonton where she graduated honours with distinction from ACMT (Alberta College of Massage Therapy as an RMT. She was a school clinic’s supervisor for practical education with the ACMT College. She then followed her passion and continued with holistic education by enrolling in Manual Osteopathic Therapy College and graduating with honours. Recently she became Teachers Assistant for the Manual Osteopathic College.

Renata is available for massage and osteopathy treatments.

After growing up in the Columbia Valley she took time to travel and completed her rehab assistant education in Calgary before returning to the mountains. She lives an active lifestyle, enjoying archery, softball and anything that gets her outdoors.

When Kayla welcomes you to the spa you will be the object of her caring and attentive nature as she uses her gentle techniques to provide you with an exceptional treatment.

Lomilomi practitioner Jean has a history in the beauty industry but found her calling in Reiki and Lomilomi. Clients have remarked on the “Profound relaxation” her lomilomi massages can induce as well as the relief from pain that it can provide.

Hawaiian Lomilomi is the traditional healing modality used for centuries by the Hawaiian people to re-align the body, mind and spirit. Sometimes called the “loving hands” massage, Lomilomi uses gentle, stretching movements to ease the release of tension and stress, leaving the client with a deep sense of peace and well-being. Jean always includes essential oils in her treatments, selected especially for the clients needs.

Massage practitioner Taylor offers massages that are relaxing, therapeutic, deep tissue or a combination of all of the above.

A local of the Invermere area, Taylor has called Edgewater home for a number of years. Massage uses her original training, and her skills have evolved over the years to include cleansing facials and body treatments.

With her training and experience you can be assured of a high quality of work from Taylor as she puts you at ease with her relaxed attitude and calming presence.

Hair stylist Jessie was born and raised in the Columbia Valley but has spent her adult life on the west coast of BC and travelling the world. Finally relocating back to Radium Hot Springs in October of 2020, she is happy to be back home.

Along with her more than 25 years of experience in the hair industry she also has a background in yoga and Reiki as well as dabbling in crystal healing.

Her easy going, friendly manner, strong communication skills and expert knowledge of color makes it no surprise that she also taught at a school for hair stylists for several years while living in the Vancouver area.Specializing in classic styles and color, Jessie is currently welcoming new clients for all hair services.

After relocating to the Columbia Valley from Calgary, nail technician Trina has settled into the valley lifestyle and enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, and soaking up the beauty of the mountains.

With a background in everything from administration to digital media and customer service, Trina’s introduction to the spa industry was her certification with BioSculpt nails. She furthered her education with a diploma in Massage Therapy from MH Vicars. However, realizing that nails are what spark her passion and creativity, Trina is now certified with The Academy of Nail Design in sculpted gel nails, manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails and fiberglass enhancements.

Trina’s fun loving personality and attention to detail are the perfect combination when it comes to nails. No matter what service you receive you can rest assured that you will feel taken care of and happy with the end result.

Trina is currently offering manicures, pedicures, sculpted gel nails, hard gel overlay as well as a variety of other spa services.

A massage practitioner, Sandra’s passion is in natural healing.  She offers Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, hot stone massage, reflexology and more recently clinical aromatherapy.

A graduate from the West Coast Institute of Aromatherapy and registered aromatherapist, Sandra can create customized essential oil blends and use their therapeutic effect in combination with any treatment, allowing relaxation, stress and anxiety relief, help with aches and pains, as well as restoring an overall feeling of well-being. Her favourite treatment is aromatherapy through reflexology.


Shiatsu Practitioner

Balance and Relaxation

Born in Japan, but raised mainly in Africa and Europe, Kaori was always interested in the traditional Japanese ways of healing. She learned Shiatsu starting from a young age from her uncle, a shiatsu therapist in Japan, and acquired her shiatsu certificate when she moved to Canada.

Kaori has also studied Reiki to add to her knowledge and skills. She is very passionate about the environment, and on her days off (when it’s warm outside) you can often find her in the woods.

Of the different styles of shiatsu, Kaori specializes in the Yang type of massage that is a little stronger and quicker paced than other massages. . Kaori is passionate about using her Reiki and Shiatsu skills to give back to the world with balancing and relaxation. Kaori is currently available for Shiatsu and Reiki treatments

Barb Hewitt is our Independent Stylist.  She has over 40 years of experience as a hairstylist. Barb takes care of her own bookings and payment, please contact her at 587-223-5874. Please note that Barb has a full clientele and will likely put you on a wait list for when she is accepting new clients again.  She will also be off from October to December 2020.
